What's Real Podcast: Episode 106: Watermelon Men

Churchill Pictures • 03:27:50

What's Real everyone?! It's an EPIC marathon of an episode this week! It's another "Variety Hour Plus" to kick things off. The guys go over a couple of RIP's (Ivan Reitman and Mickey Jay Henson), Cody and Brandi Rhodes leaving AEW, Tony Khan and expiring AEW contracts, a possible Steve Austin comeback, Dave Meltzer's star system, Samoa Joe in the ROH Hall of Fame, Steelers new OL coach, and Snoop Dogg gaining control of Deathrow Records. Next up is the Super Bowl LVI blow out! The guys break down the big game, the halftime show, and the commercials. Then, the "Month of Melvin" carries on! This week it's his only studio produced film, "Watermelon Man". This one's definitely a doozy! The guy's then head on down to the drive in. It's "The Last Drive In" Valentine special, "Joe Bob's Heartbreak Trailer Park". The special's double feature is a showing of "Black Roses" and "Frankenhooker". As is tradition, the show closes with the hilarious "Goofs R' Goofs"! Enjoy responsibly and thanks for listening!
